Today in Salem - the new! espresso guy on the capitol mall told me it was Tea Party Day.
ReplyDeleteTalked with the 912 project (like, we were all united on 9/12), and following the constitution, but it seemed all about Glen Beck.
Tefler for Treasurer booth - empty.
Chants led by the speaker "what do we want", refrain "freedom", "when do we want it", "now!" Felt like something from back in the day - But... it did not feel inclusive. Tried to figure out what they were about - I saw militia types, anti-immigrant types, constitution types. All I could come up with was - they do not seem "inclusive". This is not your parents' rally from back in the day, kiddies..
